Since 2004 the VSMM Society has awarded the TAE Prize for best papers with funding from the Tsuyosi and Ai Endowment.

Established by VSMM Founder Takeo Ojika in memory of his parents on the Society’s 10th anniversary in 2004, the Tsuyoshi and Ai Endowment generously supports exceptional work in the field of virtual systems and multimedia.  Named for his father, Tsuyoshi (Strong) and mother Ai (Love), the TAE prize commemorates Professor Ojika’s strong love for the Society he helped found and nurture.
